Tonight I went to a meeting of The Committee to Free Frances Newton. Frances Newton is on death row for allegedly killing her Husband and two children. She is scheduled to be killed on September 14. I am going to continue podcasting at each of the events of this group that I participate in, and will be conducting interviews with people who are close to Frances and the case.
After reading an article in The Houston Press about a Downtown park that is infested with rats, Brandon, Holland, Kortney, and I (I think she said it was spelled with a K) decide to hunt for rats on our own. If nothing else, this soundseeing adventure should illustrate perfectly why I don’t date girls.
Hopestone Dance’s Artistic Director Jane Weiner is my guest this week. We spent a rainy friday afternoon together to discuss her upcoming performance The Cooking Show. Jane’s contribution to the arts in Houston, as well her dedication to bringing the arts to children who are at risk made her a perfect candidate to be a guest on the show. I hope you enjoy the interview.

Please support these artists by buying their music!
**beware: I am recording on a new set up this week, and discovered that the music is at a much higher level than the speech portions. Sorry, I know how annoying that is. I will learn how to aviod that in time for next week’s show. Of course, I am always open to your suggestions!**
