Excellent show with Joey. Glad to hear him on the show again.
You were correct that Abe Vagoda was Fish on Barney Miller, then had a brief run of his own show called “Fish”.
You were saying that Rip Taylor was dead, but he’s still alive and active on the internet,(http://www.riptaylor.com/), as well as Abe Vagoda (http://www.abevigoda.com/ffb.php). I think you were thinking about Charles Nelson Riley who passed away last month.
Be sure to check out Abe Vagoda’s fabulous performance in the parody of the Sex And the City Girls get old sketch. Bea Arthur played Cary, Sally Struters played Symantha, Charlotte Rae played Charlotte, and Katherine Helmond played Miranda. Abe Vagoda makes an appearance at the end as an elderly Mr. Big.
