It's supposed to be an album, but I had a clear option in mind : write 14 songs, in a basic form, guitar + voice & lyrics. If it sounds cool that way, I can do whatever I want with them later... Complete recordings are a long process for me, so I guess I chose the right option. And I'm almost sure I can make it. I'll have 14 songs to arrange and record after... So don't give up, write at least the number of mandatory songs for that challenge, even if they're far from perfect... Piano and melody only ? why not... You said it : more music in this last week than I have in the past several years. Keep on it until the end of february, you're going to write more and more songs ;). Then don't stop... I think the best attitude is to not focus on the goal. Just enjoy the process and do what you can. I'm not trying it this year though I did write a song recently that i actually like.
